Peace in Sleep

This video takes us on a journey of grief and acceptance, where we do not know what the future may entail without the ones we loved most. A site-specific artwork that appealed to me was actually a video titled, "Site Specific Artwork" made by Sian Hughes. It shows the process of small paper boats being placed on a river. It was simple, efficient, and you were absorbed in the scene when there was no talking, which moved and influenced me. Something about this made me want to do my video, "Peace in Sleep," because I wanted to do the same thing. I wanted to make a video that shows very little of someone's body and show how the objects, the candles, that are important. While there is talking in my video, I can only hope I got my point across. These scenes were shot in the Greenhill Cemetery.
