Palindrome Project: “Hannah”

I was tasked with doing a palindrome design for the word "Hannah." I came up with multiple designs, settled on three, and made a ton of different-colored iterations of them. They all had a sense of movement that the other design iterations didn't, and it gave me a game plan to focus the word "Hannah" on a women's clothing store brand. When I settled on the more simplified "Hannah" that looked like it had chunks taken out of it, it was because the other two design iterations either felt too simplified, too abstract, or too formal for my idea of what "Hannah" would become. Good designs, but they just didn't feel right for the brand I wanted in the end. I then took the one design I liked and began making more iterations of it for a product. I focused on the idea of a floral design, turning it into a hanger to further push Hannah as a clothing brand. I made objects tailored to it, including 3D mockups from Vecteezy: clothing tags, bags, boxes, standard tags, and business cards. Hannah, the name itself, did not fit any other kind of brand I could have imagined. The only thing that made sense to me was girl-ish products, like clothing—and girls love clothes.
